Dani Alves has already agreed terms on a move to Manchester United, according to agent Francois Gallardo

The free transfer will not go through until the end of the season as that is when Alves' contract runs it cause.

The Barcelona full back according to respected agent Gallardo wants to leave the Catalan Giants.

Agent Francois Gallardo said 'The player (Alves) will leave Barcelona,'

His current contract of £120,000 per week sees him earn £6.24m per year which means that he would be just outside the 6th earner at Old Trafford.

We do not know whether he will have to join on a lower paid contract but the Brazilian who joined Barcelona for €32.5m will still earn a substantial amount.

Gallardo finally added 'He has signed a preliminary agreement with Manchester United.'

Since joining one if La Liga's biggest clubs in 2008 the 31 year old defender went onto make 194 appearances scoring 14 goals in his time.

On International duty the former Sevilla player experienced horror and disappointment as his beloved Country Brazil crashed in their home host 2014 Rio De Janeiro World Cup.

It looks more certain as the days past but that Alves will be a Manchester United player come the summer.

The signing would be to provide fellow Brazilian Rafael with some much needed competition as they both look to fight it out for the esteemed right back position.
