Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is adamant that Gareth Bale will not be leaving Real Madrid any time soon.

Rumours began to circulate that a £120m for Bale from United was in the pipelines with David De Gea also included.

Perez is quoted in the Sun as saying: "I cannot imagine Real Madrid without Bale. We would never listen to any offer, no matter the amount."

In typical famous fashion United are linked with every player under the sun when transfer season comes along. It is no surprise that Bale has been linked with United because of the big transfer funds we do have.

The Madrid president also added "This is a unique player who has already given us a lot and it is crucial for the future of the club.”

The Welshman chose Madrid over Manchester United in the summer when the Red Devils £125m offer was turned down whereas an £86m bid from the European Champions was accepted.

When it did emerge it was seen as a outrageous rumour. In truth if we would have Bale in our team it would be fantastic however he is not a priority.
