Spaniard broadcasts an apology

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has broadcasted an apology to Old Trafford fans after the defeat to Leicester.

Mata who came on in the second half watched his team fall to pieces as a 1-3 lead in the 60th minute deteriorated into a 5-3 loss.

Juan Mata said in his blog “After a whole week waiting for the match I could not imagine a Sunday like this,The way back from Leicester to Manchester on the bus seemed really long."

The 25 year old has had a great start to the season in his recent performances as he has two goals this season in his 5 appearances.

The attacking midfielder is in a rich goal scoring form at Old Trafford with eight goals in his last 10 appearances for Manchester United.

He also added “I keep thinking about how we lost a game that was under control. It’s really tough to score three goals away and come back home with no points."

The £37m man is a great addition but it has been questioned about his long term future at Manchester United with all the star names coming into the side.

Mata finally added “On our way back to Manchester I was thinking about what had happened and felt so disappointed as all those that came with us to the stadium. Honestly, I feel very sorry that the weekend ended up for our fans in such a sad way.”

I think their is some part in which Mata played in the second half downfall when he was shoved of the ball to let Leicester score the third.

It's very sophisticated in the way he has materialised this apology article in his blog but he & the rest of the team will need to improve significantly.

The next match is against West Ham on Saturday where I will be posting & tweeting live from Old Trafford.
