Manchester United midfielder Maraoune Fellaini will face no action from the FA after an alleged spit on Manchester City's Sergio Agüero.

The incident occurred in the first half of the game when the City striker appeared to go down in the box after a challenge from Fellaini.

The referee waved the debatable penalty decision as no penalty leaving Fellaini rushing back to seemingly say something in the strikers ear.

Pictures emerged that Fellaini perhaps might have spat at the Argentine but it has been slightly exaggerated.

Fellaini tweeted on the issue "The press loves to invent the stories when there aren't any,Thanks the journalist. #ferity #tospit"

The player who signed from a Everton has been short of controversy before with him being labelled as a rough player who is know the headbutt and elbow at times.

Fellaini however is in a great vain of form this season having been revitalised under Van Gaal and playing in the right position for his performance.

My personal opinion is that I'm undecided with emotions high in the Derby it is possible he could have spat but on the other hand if the FA see it as okay then it mustn't be that bad.
