No contract talks for youngster

Manchester United young central attacking midfielder Andreas Periera has stated that he hasn't

been contacted over possible contract renewal talks.

The 18 year old was recently added onto the Manchester United squad list and is hoping to force his way into a starting place.

Talking to Lancenet, the teenager said: "They haven't contacted me yet, but Van Gaal told me to stay calm."

A product of youth who is yet to make his Premier League debut this season but had featured in muling 4-0 cup defeat to MK Dons.

A young prospect who along with Adnan Januzaj,Paddy McNair, Luke Shaw and James Wilson will provide a new breed of young talent into the first team.

He also added "He wants to give me a chance because I have plenty of talent. When he arrived at the club, I talked with him. He always does so."

The Belgian born Brazilian has been in fine form for the youth U21s side scoring .... this season in his attacking midfield role.

"It's not true that (he doesn't like Brazilian players), he always treated me in a normal way."

Their is no doubt he deserves a new contract he is a United man through and through but his chances at first team places limited due to quality higher up.

Their is space however for the youngster to emerge through in a few years when players such as Wayne Rooney & Juan Mata retire the CAM role for Periera.
