Holland executed any hope of dignity from the Brazilian's as Luiz Felipe Scolari future has been launched into more doubt.

The Brazilian FA will meet with the former Chelsea boss this evening with his future with the Brazilian national team thought to be ended.

Netherlands tournament ended with a secure 3-0 victory as they opened up a weak defensive Brazil team in style. They were sharp and clinical on the attack with their fluent counter attacking football.

It had only taken the Brazilian hopes to fade after just one minute of the game when the PSG returning centre back brought down Arjen Robben just outside the penalty area with him breaking clear on goal. The referee had been deluded as he had done the opposite. Instead of giving the reckless Silva a red card and a free kick, he gave a yellow and a penalty.

The penalty was converted by the off form Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie who had not scored since the second group game. This time the United forward steamrolled the ball into the top right hand corner of the goal as Juilo Cesar was left stranded.

With Brazils morale lower than the amount of fans left in the stadium after their 7-1 defeat to Germany in the semi finals. Netherlands took advantage of this as £50m David Luiz had headed back into the danger area for David Blind to thunder the ball into the top of the goal.

Netherlands were unlucky to lose to Argentina but ended their tournament with a smile on their face as a final goal for George Wijnaldum strolled them to a third place finish in this World Cup.

Brazil didn't want this World Cup as they believe that the money should have been invested in the community and help finance locals to a better life but they have spent over £2 billion in building stadiums that were not completed in time which was not acceptable.

Although they don't have as much pressure and controversy as the Qatar 2022 World Cup, they have still disappointed on the world stage in their own country as they were hung drawn and slaughter by a very good Germany side.
