Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal speaking in today's pre match press conference confirmed that their were only four injuries to his team.

A previous struggling with highs of nine and ten over the start of the season has caused at the worst many defensive troubles with players having to fill in.

Van Gaal said Man Utd's injury list is down to four players: "I'm very happy because there are no injuries from the internationals."

It was pleasing news to hear that the 17 time trophy winner had the lowest amount of injuries since he took over.

No players on international duty rolling back to Old Trafford on a stretcher which are all so common after the break is over.

He also added at the press conference "I have confidence in my players and that's important, but it's more important they have confidence in the manager and staff."

Ahead of the West Brom task Manchester United hope to edge themselves onto a third consecutive win in a row something David Moyes could not accomplish in his short spell in charge last season.

A new air of confidence does possess Old Trafford however United are yet to win away in all competitions which could be a worry.

Van Gaal speaking about his philosophy said "The players understand the philosophy but they must perform. I'm looking for balance, not just spectacular attacking football."

The Dutchman's philosophy is starting to bed in at Old Trafford and along worth that wins will start to snowball and continue throughout the year.

It is great that Van Gaal is able to imprint this project onto a huge club such as Manchester United. Like me and many other United fans across the global I 100% believe he is the man to bring back trophy time every may at Old Trafford.
